About the Die Gotica Universe
Welcome to the Die Gotica Universe (DGU): a gateway into a fictional world spanning animation, literature, games, music and art.
Created by Cristiano Stern, the DGU explores time travel, conspiracies, mysticism and the uneasy relationship between humanity and extraterrestrial beings known as the Elohim. Its stories bring together compelling characters, alternate worlds and the hidden currents of history.
A newspaper from inside the universe
This journal is part of that experience. Some articles report from within the fictional world; others explore the work and ideas behind it. The dates of fictional events belong to the story, rather than to the real-world publication calendar. The authors are editorial voices of the DGU, with their own perspectives and biographies.
Our mission
To share the Die Gotica Universe through an immersive experience across different media. Science fiction, fantasy and alternate history can take us beyond the boundaries of the familiar, opening questions about humanity, the universe and the possibilities of existence.
The English edition
The English edition includes the complete collection of 31 articles, the four voices of the journal and the book introduction. Each article links to its Portuguese original. The English texts are editorial translations of the archived articles; references to earlier versions of the stories have been preserved as part of that archive.
