In a post-apocalyptic future following the devastating war against the Elohim—alien gods—the world reorganises into four Macroregions governed by popes. Sérgio Stein, a brilliant hacker and former Petrobrax employee, discovers that he is a Nephilim, descended from Elohim and humans. Allied with the ruthless Sonja Rakic and Maisha’s father Elowan, he builds an army of BOTs—genetically modified robots—to subjugate humanity.
